Detonating Cord (primacord) consists of a flexible tube filled with PETN and is used to transmit a detonation from a primed blasting cap or from a delay detonator to a high explosive charge . In order to have the necessary detonating cord ready, it is packed in 50, 100 or 500-ft wooden spools which were included in the different Demolition Equipment Sets .
