Strictly GI regularly attends events throughout the United Kingdom and Europe portraying a variety of impressions showing the World War II GI. Below is a list of the forthcoming events our members will be attending. Please click on an event to learn more.
2023 events:
July:
8th – 9th July 2023
Strictly GI will return for the 2023 1940s Festival in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. We're planning one of our largest displays ever this year, representing the 128th Evacuation Hospital during its time in Normandy, 1944.
September:
LCVP Photo Shoot Private event
23rd September 2023
Private photo shoot event for Strictly GI members aboard a genuine World War II LCVP "Higgings" Boat. Further details will be provided to members via email; sadly not open for members of the public.
October:
4th Infantry Division Photo Shoot Private event
8th October 2023
Private photo shoot for Strictly GI members depicting members of the 8th Infantry Regiment during the first days in Normandy, June 1944. Further details will be provided to members via email; sadly not open for members of the public.
December:
Strictly GI Annual General Meeting Private event
16th December 2023
The annual general meeting of Strictly GI, to discuss events, membership and other related group business for the forthcoming season. Please note this is a private event, not open to public attendance.
